Patna (Bihar) [India], May 12 (ANI): Janata Dal United (JDU) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha lauded the Operation Sindoor conducted by the Indian Armed Forces and stated that “beyond imagination” work has been done by destroying Pakistan’s nine terrorist camps.
Jha said that Pakistan’s airbase has been destroyed, which showcases how the Indian Army responded when the country was attacked. He asserted that if any other terror attack happens in India, it will be considered an “act of war”.
“As was India’s objective and what the PM had said from Madhubani, beyond imagination work has been done that 9 terror camps of Pakistan have been demolished and hundreds of terrorists have been killed… Their important airbase has been destroyed. Our army has shown how to respond if India is attacked, the army has done a remarkable job. The whole country is proud of the army. If any terror activity takes place in future, it will be considered an act of war. This is the new India”, Sanjay Kumar Jha told ANI on Sunday.
Earlier, in a joint press conference held at the National Media Centre on Sunday, senior officials of the Indian Armed Forces Lieutenant General Rajeev Ghai (Director General Military Operations), Vice Admiral A N Pramod (Director General Naval Operations), and Air Marshal A K Bharti (Director General Air Operations) confirmed that India destroyed 11 airbases inside Pakistan and inflicted significant damage on their military capabilities.
The officials jointly announced the success of “Operation Sindoor” — a cross-border counter-terror operation aimed at neutralising terror infrastructure inside Pakistan.
In addition to eliminating over 100 terrorists, the strikes destroyed 11 air bases inside Pakistan and inflicted significant damage on their military capabilities. The air, land and sea operations were carried out with calibrated restraint, emphasising minimising civilian casualties.
This statement comes amid heightened tensions between the two nations, following India’s recent military operation, Operation Sindoor, which targeted terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir. India’s military operation involved precision strikes on nine sites identified as terrorist infrastructure, including militant camps in Muzaffarabad, Kotli, and Bahawalpur. (ANI)
