Taipei [Taiwan], April 17 (ANI): Taiwan recorded 34 PLA aircraft, six PLAN vessels and two official ships operating around its territory on Thursday, as shared by Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defence (MND).
Sharing the details in a post on X, MND noted that these were detected up until 6 a.m. (UTC+8).
It further noted that out of the 34 sorties, 14 crossed the median line and entered Taiwan’s northern, central and southwestern ADIZ.
MND shared that it monitored the situation and responded to it.

Earlier on Wednesday, MND said that 17 sorties of People’s Liberation Army (PLA) aircraft, eight naval vessels, and one official ship were detected around Taiwan until 6 am (local time) on Wednesday.
According to Taiwan’s MND, 11 out of 17 sorties crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and entered Taiwan’s southwestern Air Defence Identification Zone (ADIZ).
