Madhya Pradesh: 4th edition of Regional Industry Conclave to be held in Sagar today – World News Network

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], September 27 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will participate in sectoral sessions and have one-to-one discussions with industrialists at the fourth edition of Regional Industries Conclave scheduled to be held in Sagar district on Friday.
The fourth Regional Industries Conclave of the state is being organised today at Jawaharlal Nehru Police Academy Ground in Sagar. Industrialists and investors across India and abroad will participate in the conclave. In the opening session, the country’s leading industrialists will put forward their views on investing in the state.
Along with this, CM Yadav will also virtually inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various new and proposed projects on the occasion. It include the proposed land allotment for the regional office of Sagar, Bhopal and Narmadapuram divisions, Bhoomi Pujan of the regional office of MPIDC (MP Industrial Development Corporation) in Sagar, inauguration of District Investment Promotion Centre in Sagar, Damoh, Panna, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur and Niwari districts and inauguration of MPIDC office in Coimbatore.
According to an official release, various sectoral sessions will be organised in the conclave. These include petrochemical, plastic and related sectors (main focus – related to Bina Refinery), agriculture, food processing and dairy sector, MSME and startups, cottage industry (main focus – bidi industry), two round-table sessions on renewable energy, textile and technical sector, workshop related to One District-One Product (ODOP) and hackathon for IT based solutions to local problems.
The main focus of the conclave will be the local cottage industry. A detailed action plan will be discussed in a separate session based on bidi industry. In ‘One District-One Product’, there will be a discussion on world class quality, marketing and processing of local products of all districts of Sagar division, the release added.
Notably, the Regional Industry Conclaves are being held in the state as a pre-event of the “Invest Madhya Pradesh-Global Investor Summit-2025”.
GIS-2025 is proposed to be organised in Bhopal on February 7 and 8 next year. The main objective of the GIS-2025 Summit is to establish Madhya Pradesh as a favourable investment destination and to include it among the leading states of the country by highlighting the capabilities, abundant resources and favourable industrial environment of the state.
The first edition of Regional Industry Conclave was organised in Ujjain on March 1 and 2 this year. Later, the conclave was held in Jabalpur on July 20 and then in Gwalior last month on August 28.
Besides, Interactive Session on Investment Opportunities in MP events has been held simultaneously outside the state as part of the pre-event of ‘Invest Madhya Pradesh-Global Investor Summit-2025’. (ANI)
