New Delhi [India], December 9 (ANI): Launching a scathing attack against the Congress party, Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju on Monday said that Congress must introspect the reasons why people are not taking ‘Balak Buddhi’ (referring to Rahul Gandhi) seriously. He further added that the Congress leaders will fail if they want to destroy the country to defeat Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“Instead of doing tamasha and wasting the public money, Congress should introspect as to why people are not taking ‘Balak Buddhi’ seriously. If Congress leaders want to destroy India to defeat PM Modi ji, they will fail. India will defeat the Anti-India forces & their Associates,” said Rijiju as he posted Adani’s pictures with Robert Vadra and Congress leaders.
Earlier in the day, as the opposition demands discussions on the Adani issue, Kiren Rijiju said that few issues before the country shouldn’t be seen with “political lenses” and urged the Congress party and its workers to fight unitedly against “anti-India forces.”
“I think that few issues before the country shouldn’t be seen with political lenses. George Soros and his links – that have come to light – we do not see it as an issue relating Congress party, Rahul Gandhi. We should take the issue seriously – if it is related to anti-India forces. We do not see this as party politics… We have told Congress and other parties that we will discuss over the Constitution on December 13 and 14 (in Lok Sabha) and on December 16 and 17 (in Rajya Sabha). I want to appeal to the leaders of the Congress party and its workers that if even their leaders are found to have links with anti-India forces, they also should raise their voices and we should be united and fight unitedly against anti-India forces,” Rijiju told reporters in the national capital.
The twelfth day of the winter session saw opposition MPs including Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi held a protest over the Adani matter, at the Parliament premises.
Rahul Gandhi joined Opposition MPs in their protest over the Adani matter. Members of the Trinamool Congress and Samajwadi Party did not participate in this protest.
The first session of the winter Parliament commenced on November 25, with both Houses getting adjourned fairly early due to disruptions. The winter session will go on till December 20. (ANI)
