New Delhi [India] August 18 (ANI): Delhi BJP President Virendraa Sachdeva participated in the Run for the Nation Marathon at Narela on Sunday.
Around 3000 locals participated with exuberance in this marathon.
Sachadeva said that these children are running with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message of “Khelega India to Jeetega India.”
“Around 3000 locals have participated in this marathon. These children are running with the PM’s message of ‘Khelega India toh jeetega India” Sachdeva told ANI.
He further asserted that sports help in fostering discipline, concentration and leadership quality.
“Sport should be inseparable from children’s life, it fosters discipline, concentration, and leadership quality in children,” Sachdeva said.
Earlier on Saturday, Virendraa Sachdeava participated in the “Raksha Bhandan Utsav 2024” program organised by the “Bharat Bharti” organisation.
“I participated in the Raksha Bandhan Utsav 2024 program organised by the ‘Bharat Bharti’ organization dedicated to national unity in Mayur Vihar.” Sachdeva posted on X.
“The event was organised with the commitment to the resolution of “Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat; the event showcased the vibrant spirit of national unity and a united and progressive India,” the post further reads.
Last week, Virendra Sachdeva joined Shri Multan Jyot Mahotsav at Haridwar. The theme of the Jyot Mahotsav this year was patriotism. “Today, I had the opportunity to be at Punya Dham Haridwar on the occasion of the 114th Shri Multan Jyot Mahotsav. In this context, I took a holy dip in the Ganges with senior officials of the Jyot Sabha to gain spiritual merit.” Virendra Sachdeva posted on X.
“The theme of this year’s festival, organized by Shri Multan Jyot Sabha, is patriotism; as a result, all devotees are adorned with the national flag ‘Tiranga,’ embodying the spirit of nationalism.” Sachdeva said
Earlier on August 4, BJP president Virendra Sachdeva participated in a cleanliness and tree plantation drive under “Jhuggi Swachta Abhiyaan.”
“We have launched a cleanliness drive in many slums of Delhi. It is rainy season, many types of diseases occur, dengue cases are also increasing. All our workers are running cleanliness programmes in different slums of Delhi today. We are going to continue this programme.”, (ANI)
