Dehradun (Uttarakhand), November 9 (ANI): On the occasion of Uttarakhand Foundation Day, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami extended his greetings and wishes to the people of the state. He said that the state has created a special identity by setting new dimensions of progress in the last 24 years. Foundation Day in the state is being celebrated as the ‘Devbhoomi Silver Festival’.
It was the results of the efforts made by the double engine government and the cooperation of the people of the state that Uttarakhand is becoming a leader in every field, the Chief Minister said, adding that many “concrete steps” have been taken towards empowering the youth and women in the state.
“We are continuously working towards the creation of a strong, safe and prosperous Uttarakhand by assimilating the basic mantra of ‘Sankalp se Siddhi, Pragati Sang Samriddhi’. Come, on the occasion of Foundation Day, let us all together pledge to contribute to the development of the state and move forward towards making an advanced, strong and self-reliant state,” CM Dhami said.
“Our government is dedicatedly working towards realising the dream of the martyrs of the Uttarakhand State Formation Movement,” he said.
The Uttarakhand Police also extended their wishes to the residents of the state and paid respect to the those who sacrificed their lives for the creation of the state.
“Hearty congratulations and best wishes to all the residents of the state on the 25th Uttarakhand State Foundation Day and heartfelt salutes to the immortal martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the creation of Uttarakhand State,” the Uttarakhand Police posted on X. (ANI)
