New Delhi [India], February 2 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday launched a scathing attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) during a public meeting held in support of NDA candidate Shailendra Kumar in the Burari assembly constituency of Delhi.
In the public meeting, the Chief Minister took a jibe at the AAP government in Delhi and said that they had only created drama and gimmicks.
“The AAP government in Delhi has done only drama and gimmicks in the last 10 years. AAP leaders had promised to open 500 new schools before the elections, but opened liquor shops in every street,” Dhami said in the meeting.
The CM while sharing the achievements of the double-engine government in his address said that more than 5,000 acres of land had been freed from encroachment by taking strict action against “land jihad” in Uttarakhand.
“We have freed more than 5,000 acres of land from encroachment by taking strict action against land jihad in Uttarakhand. This campaign will continue further,” the CM further added.
The Chief Minister also said that due to the effect of the double engine government in Uttarakhand, many important works have gained momentum in the state and now a new path of development can be opened in Delhi as well in the form of BJP’s double engine government.
The Chief Minister also explained the important achievements of the BJP.
“We have implemented the Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand, which ensures equality and justice in the society. Along with this, the removal of Article 370 from Kashmir and the construction of Shri Ram temple have also been important achievements of BJP.”
The Chief Minister further said, “I feel very sad to see the condition of the Yamuna River in Delhi. Yamuna river originating from Uttarakhand remains clean and pure, but its condition in Delhi is very bad. Kejriwal had promised to clean the Yamuna River, but till now this promise has not been fulfilled.”
The CM appealed to the people of Delhi, “On February 5, all of you vote in favour of BJP and make Shailendra Kumar ji win with a huge majority. BJP’s double engine government will accelerate the pace of development in Delhi as well.” (ANI)
