Anand (Gujarat) [India], October 22 (ANI): Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah said on Tuesday that the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) has sold over 427 lakh litres of milk per day and its net profit was over Rs 50 crores in the year 2022-23.
“As per the NDDB report for 2022-23, it sold over 427 lakh litres of milk per day and its net profit was over Rs 50 crores. This shows how much development is happening at NDDB. I once attended a board meeting of NDDB and told them to not restrict yourself to milk only. Expand them. “It is heartening to know that it is also ventured into the processing of vegetables, fruits and potatoes,” Home Minister Shah said while addressing Diamond Jubilee celebrations of NDDB.
