New Delhi [India], July 28 (ANI): A two-day-long meeting of Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states commenced at the BJP headquarters in the national capital on Saturday.
Many leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and National President JP Nadda, were present in the meeting. The meeting lasted for almost four hours at the BJP headquarters.
After the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, this was the biggest meeting called by the BJP. This meeting was held under the chairmanship of PM Modi. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu, Goa CM Pramod Sawant, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami were also present in the meeting.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brijesh Pathak also attended the meeting.
According to the sources, the leaders present in the meeting congratulated PM Modi. Schemes being run by the state government were also discussed in the meeting. Most of the states have given a presentation about the schemes running in their state. The central government’s plans to get on the ground and review them properly have also been discussed.
PM Modi took feedback from the chief ministers of BJP-ruled states. According to sources, PM Modi guided the Chief Ministers during the meeting. A strategy made to strengthen the BJP even in non-BJP-ruled states. In the coming months, where by-elections and assembly elections are to be held, the Chief Minister will make a better strategy for victory.
The results of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 were also discussed in today’s meeting. Other schemes like ‘Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana’ and ‘Har Ghar Nal Se Jal’ were also discussed in the meeting.
Also, the two-day meeting of the Minister’s Council will be concluded on Sunday. During this time, the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of all the states will be present in the meeting.
The Prime Minister’s speech will be held in the meeting and the Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of all the states will listen to the Mann Ki Baat program at the BJP headquarters. A photo session of all the leaders will also be done with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. (ANI)
